Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by honest work ("we", "us", "our"). By subscribing to or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

honest work provides digital marketing services for small businesses, including but not limited to:

  • Google Business Profile optimisation
  • Call tracking and reporting
  • AI call handling for missed calls
  • Automated booking integration
  • WhatsApp enquiry handling
  • Automated review request sequences
  • Monthly performance reporting
  • Follow-up sequences for quotes and enquiries

The specific services available to you depend on your chosen subscription plan. We aim to have your services live within 48 hours of signing up and completing your onboarding call.

3. Payment

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a monthly recurring basis.

  • Prices are listed in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • Your subscription will renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
  • We reserve the right to change our prices with 30 days' written notice. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

4. Your Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete business information
  • Respond to reasonable requests for information needed to deliver services
  • Not use our services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
  • Grant us the necessary access to your Google Business Profile and other relevant accounts where required to deliver services

5. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, systems, and processes developed by honest work remain our intellectual property. You retain ownership of your business name, brand, and any content you provide to us.

Any content we create on your behalf (such as Google Business Profile descriptions or review response templates) is licensed to you for the duration of your subscription. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your own business profiles and any content published to them.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee specific results, rankings, or call volumes. Digital marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
  • Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription through your account or by contacting us at pete@honest-work.ai.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to make payment, or use our services in a manner that could harm us or other users.

Upon termination, we will cease providing services at the end of the current billing period. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

8. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
